Join Horry County as we mark an important milestone in a project focused on improving safety, resiliency and infrastructure in Garden City.
The Garden City Streetscape Groundbreaking Ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at 10 a.m. The event will take place at the Corporal Michael Ambrosino Memorial Parking Lot, located at 115 S. Waccamaw Drive in Garden City.
Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the multi-phase project and the improvements planned for the coastal community.
It is important to note construction on the multi-phase project started earlier this month and roadway detours are already in place on a portion of S Waccamaw Drive. Attendees are asked to be mindful of the active work zones while traveling to the event.
