Horry County Mosquito Control will be conducting aerial spraying Thursday, September 17, 2026, as long as the weather permits. Spraying will start 2 hours prior to sunset and continue for 2 hours after sunset.

Old Hwy 31
Monaca Dr.
Mt. Zion Rd.
Ashworth Dr.
Dawes Landing Ct.
In the event of rain, the spraying will be rescheduled to Friday, September 18, 2026. This event will be in addition to the aerial spraying that is happening on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
The chemicals used for mosquito control spraying are approved by the EPA and SCDPR , they pose minimal risk to humans or animals. Individuals with asthma or other respiratory illnesses may wish to stay indoors and close windows and doors during spraying. In addition, homegrown fruits and vegetables should be washed, scrubbed, and/or peeled before eating.
