During the Special Republican Primary for U.S. Senate Runoff on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, many polling places will be located inside Horry County schools while class is in session.

Due to limited parking and potential congestion, voters assigned to polling locations at schools are encouraged to take advantage of early voting from Wednesday, Aug. 19, through Friday, Aug. 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the following locations:

- Voters Registration and Elections: 1515 4th Avenue, Conway, SC 29526

- South Strand Recreation Center: 9650 Scipio Lane, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588

- North Strand Recreation Center: 120 Highway 57 S, Little River, SC 29566

For those who are assigned to a polling location within a school who do plan to vote on Tuesday, Aug. 25, it is recommended you review the specific steps shared below for your polling place.

Elementary School Locations:

- Pee Dee Elementary School-Conference Room off main lobby

- St James Elementary School- Conference Room off main lobby

- Carolina Forest Elementary School- Conference Room

- Daisy Elementary School- Front Lobby

- Aynor Elementary School- Front office conference room

- Loris Elementary School-Community Room (Room, 721)

- Seaside Elementary School - Room 102. This room is my instructional coach's room. Right outside her room is the outside where a door leads from the outside to her room. From the outside, voters will be able to park outside in our bus loop. We will need poll workers making sure voters are coming to the door which would get them into the room where voting is happening. We will make sure we have signage up for voters to not go to our outside gym doors and outside cafeteria doors.

- Kingston Elementary School - Location of voting machines-office conference room. Voters can walk down the same sidewalk that they have done in the past but enter thru the door to the left instead of gym/cafeteria. The conference room is as soon as you enter the door.

- Homewood Elem School- Gymnasium in the back of the school

- South Conway Elementary School- Multipurpose Room, same location as always

- Midland Elementary School - Elections will be in the cafeteria at Midland. The voting area will be partitioned off for voters since the cafeteria will be used for breakfast and lunch. Voters will enter/exit in the same place that they always do when MES is used as a polling place.

- Conway Elementary School - Gymnasium

- Palmetto Bays Elementary School- Front Conference Room

- Waccamaw Elementary School-Gymnasium, curbside voting in handicap parking

- Forestbrook Elementary School- Gymnasium, curbside on the loop road in front of school

- Lakewood Elementary School-A room attached to the cafeteria.

- Riverside Elementary School - STEM room. It has a door that leads directly to the exterior. Voters park in the bus loop parking lot and walk directly in

- Burgess Elementary School-Front Office

- Ocean Bay Elementary School - Gymnasium

- Socastee Elementary School - Room 128 - entrance at the left end of the building. A direct entrance into Room 128.

Middle School Locations:

- Ocean Bay Middle School- Media center. We have an outside entrance from the main parking lot. We have an outside entrance from the main parking lot

- Myrtle Beach Middle School- Room 176- entrance at the left end of the building. A direct entrance into Room 176.

- North Myrtle Beach Middle School- Media Center

- St James Middle School- Front Office Conference Room

- Socastee Middle School-Community Room. There is an exterior door and it will limit public access to our students while they are in school

- St. James Intermediate School- Room 172, entrance at the left end of the building. A direct entrance into Room 172. Curbside in the bus loop.

High School & Academies/Other Locations:

- Academy of Technology & Academics- Technology Theatre, a separate entrance

- Carolina Forest High School- G House

- Socastee High School- Multipurpose Room near gymnasium

- St. James High School- Front Atrium

- North Myrtle Beach High School - Auditorium

- Myrtle Beach Adult Education Center- Media Center

- HCS Rivertown Complex – Gymnasium

Polling locations will be open to voters from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
