Who is Authorized to Sign Contracts and Obligate Horry County

(HCPR 3-2-1 through 3-2-2)

Except for the limited authority and responsibilities of the Horry County Officials set forth in the preceding subsections of this chapter, only the County’s Chief Procurement Officials shall have the power to delegate the 28 County’s Procurement Authority. All delegations of Procurement Authority shall be in writing, shall describe the extent of the authority delegated, and shall be signed by both of the Chief Procurement Officials and the party to whom the delegation is granted.
