Race Series
The Horry County Race Series began in 2018 as a single road race along the newly completed International Drive. Since that time, Horry County Parks and Recreation has grown this event from a single race into a fantastic five race series that occurs all over the County.
Pier to Pier Beach Run
Participants will soak in the beautiful morning views of the Atlantic Ocean as they run along a course taking them between the Springmaid Pier and the Myrtle Beach State Park pier for a unique 5k experience. This event will also host a one-mile fun run after the 5K.
Robbie Jordan Memorial Race 5K
Located in the heart of Carolina Forest, this track takes you from Carolina Forest Recreation Center through one of its beautiful communities and back. This race honors Robbie Jordan, a former Finance Director that had a love for the 5k Race Series.
World Famous Blue Crab 5k at Vereen’s Gardens
Hosted at the beautiful Vereen Memorial and Historical Gardens, this event will take place among the trails and boardwalks that overlook the marsh in Little River, South Carolina.
Loris Bog Off "Chicken Run" 5k
This will be a 5K race event taking place around the Loris High School facility and will be a part of the Loris Bog Festival festivities. This event is being brought to your by the Loris Chamber of Commerce and in partnership Horry County Parks and Recreation.
Ghost of the Coast
This event is being moved to a new track starting at the South Strand Recreation Center. Costumes are highly encouraged and join us at our Fall Festival after the race concludes taking place on South Strand grounds!
