Meet

Dan

A Australian Shepherd with Bulldog, American mix
This is Dan. Dan along with his litter mates were a deferred foster when a family had a unwanted litter and wanted to find all the pups homes. These litter mates along with their parents have been at the shelter since they were fixed. The juvenile dogs are now awaiting for their forever homes and families to come and give them a wonderful home.
Long walks or fenced in back yard is always the best environment for dogs, but exercise is the main goal. We can test our dogs with other dogs at the shelter, but not every dog may get along with your dog this is why if you do have a pet at home we strongly suggest meet and greets before adopting. When adopting an animal at the shelter please know the responsibility of an animal. Most of the animals at the shelter have come in as a stray which mean they may not know how to sit or stay. They also might not have manners such as not to jump. Adopting takes patience. Please research the dog breed you are interested in and remember it takes time. Refer to the sheltering 3/3/3 rule of adopting for help.
