Meet

Kentucky

A Hound with Retriever mix
Meet Kentucky, a ball of energy with a playful spirit that never seems to fade. His independent nature means he's comfortable doing his own thing, but he also loves a good game of fetch or a fun toy to wrestle with. Kentucky has a goofy side that will keep you laughing with his funny antics. He's quite the character! However, he does need some basic training to polish his manners. With a little patience and a lot of love, Kentucky will make a wonderful addition to any family. His zest for life, coupled with his unique personality, make him a dog that will bring joy and laughter into your home. Adopt Kentucky and let his vibrant spirit brighten your life.

Long walks or fenced in back yard is always the best environment for dogs, but exercise is the main goal. We can test our dogs with other dogs at the shelter, but not every dog may get along with your dog this is why if you do have a pet at home we strongly suggest meet and greets before adopting. When adopting an animal at the shelter please know the responsibility of an animal. Most of the animals at the shelter have come in as a stray which mean they may not know how to sit or stay. They also might not have manners such as not to jump. Adopting takes patience. Please research the dog breed you are interested in and remember it takes time. Refer to the sheltering 3/3/3 rule of adopting for help.
