Meet

Jack

A Terrier, American Pit Bull with Boxer mix
This is Jack. Jack is a very loveable dog who came into the shelter as a stray. He is great on a leash, enjoys walks, and is clean in his kennel. He enjoys hugs and getting loved on. His ideal home would be somewhere he can sit on a couch like a potato for the rest of his days. We have not tested him with kids, but he has been super lovable with staff. He is very laid back and as his picture looks he always will greet you with a smile.
Long walks or fenced in back yard is always the best environment for dogs, but exercise is the main goal. We can test our dogs with other dogs at the shelter, but not every dog may get along with your dog this is why if you do have a pet at home we strongly suggest meet and greets before adopting. When adopting an animal at the shelter please know the responsibility of an animal. Most of the animals at the shelter have come in as a stray which mean they may not know how to sit or stay. They also might not have manners such as not to jump. Adopting takes patience. Please research the dog breed you are interested in and remember it takes time. Refer to the sheltering 3/3/3 rule of adopting for help.
