Nylah

A Bulldog with mix
This is Nylah. She is a big lovable girl. She came into the shelter as a owner surrender after her previous owner was having some health issues and could not take care of her anymore. At her previous owners home she was not housed with another animal. She was adopted out recently and she did not do well with the smaller dog that was with her. We have taken her to events before and walked her around with other animals her size and she communicated with them and done well, but we are not sure about every animal she encounters. We believe she may have a prey drive with animals smaller with her and selective with which animals she likes. She is a dominate big girl. We suggest a meet and greet if you are interested in her with a slow introduction. She is housetrained and up to date on shots.
Long walks or fenced in back yard is always the best environment for dogs, but exercise is the main goal. We can test our dogs with other dogs at the shelter, but not every dog may get along with your dog this is why if you do have a pet at home we strongly suggest meet and greets before adopting. When adopting an animal at the shelter please know the responsibility of an animal. Most of the animals at the shelter have come in as a stray which mean they may not know how to sit or stay. They also might not have manners such as not to jump. Adopting takes patience. Please research the dog breed you are interested in and remember it takes time. Refer to the sheltering 3/3/3 rule of adopting for help.
