Rio

Rio is such a amazing pup. He loves to go outside and play in the kiddy pools with water. He splashes in the pool especially if there is a tennis ball in there. He is ok for a bath, he does not love the bath, but he lets you do it. He likes to take his bones and treats and burry them in the dirt. He will dig a hole and then cover them up for later. He is a big cuddle bug who loves to lay on you and lean on your legs and lay in your lap. I think he believes he is a lap dog. He walks well on a leash, but if he is excited he does pull some. He will sit for a treat and is treat motivated. In the kennel he does bark at new people he does not know but outside the kennel he is a completely different dog who longs for a forever home. We believe he is good with other dogs, but we suggest meet and greets just for certain.

"Rio, poor boy, the only dog not adopted at a past event we went to. He was a wild man getting out of his kennel but in the play yard, he was much calmer and enjoyed a good brushing. He was interested in digging and treats. He liked attention from us, but was not super affectionate. I think though that he'd be a loving dog with the right family."
