Update on Horry County Parks and Recreation operations and hours at Carolina Forest Recreation Center.

The American Red Cross shelter at the Carolina Forest Recreation Center is now closed. The facility will be utilized for wildfire response operations for public safety agencies in the meantime.

Residents needing assistance can call the American Red Cross at: 843-477-0020.

The after school program normally held at the Carolina Forest Recreation Center will be held at the Carolina Forest Senior Center located next to the Carolina Forest Library. All other programs will be canceled.
