Collections for RIDE 4 commenced on May 1 as the RIDE 3 program came to an end.
As Horry County enters this next chapter of infrastructure improvement, we remain committed to providing regular updates on the road improvement initiative.
First, we are proud to announce the launch of a new website dedicated to documenting the progress on all RIDE projects.
This new digital resource was designed to maintain transparency with taxpayers and educate the community on all initiatives included in the 25-year improvement plan.
This website will grow to include other road projects in the county, not just those under the RIDE program.
The new website can be accessed here: roads.horrycountysc.gov
The link below will provide a video tutorial to help navigate the website while highlighting its key features which include, but are not limited to:
- Current Project Search
- Past Project Search
- Future Project Search
- Interactive Project Map
- A summary of the processes followed to build a road
- Information on upcoming community meetings
- Ability to submit feedback

Additionally, Horry County will provide quarterly updates on RIDE projects via a new "Future in Focus" newsletter.
Similar to our weekly Horry County Government email newsletter, residents may register to receive these e-newsletters by visiting the new RIDE website or via the general Horry County website.

We also encourage the community to continue to follow our social media pages for reliable and timely updates on all infrastructure improvements.
