International Drive closed as part of ongoing wildfire response

As part of Saturday's wildfire response in Carolina Forest, and to allow for the movement of necessary public safety apparatus, International Drive has been closed to traffic. 

The closure is from the intersection of International Drive and Highway 90 to the intersection of International Drive and Redwolf Trail, by the school campuses. 

Crews are continuing to work toward containment of the wildlife. 

Please use alternate routes and steer clear of the area to leave roadways open for emergency personnel. Blocked roadways can delay public safety response -- please help crews address this fire swiftly.
