Horry County Mosquito Control is preparing to begin spraying operations at all county parks, recreation centers and boat landings.
Spraying will take place on a 10-day rotation starting Monday, April 6, 2026. Crews will operate Monday through Thursday from 4 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., weather permitting.
This schedule will continue through the end of July. Beginning in August, spraying will expand to include Fridays.
As mosquito season approaches, residents with beehives are encouraged to register their colonies if they have not already done so. Click here to complete your registration.
