Did you know Green Sea was one of the 11 Horry County townships established around 1868? At the time, the heart of the community consisted of a meeting house and mill.
This notable Horry County community is set to receive a historic marker through the South Carolina Historical Marker Program.
The Horry County Historic Preservation Commission invites you to attend the unveiling ceremony for the Green Sea Historic Marker on Wednesday, November 12 at 11 a.m. The marker will be located at the corner of Green Sea Road and Mitchell Sea Road.
