General Job Description
Under limited supervision, coordinates, oversees, and administers Horry County’s Impact Fee Ordinance. Serves as primary administrative point of contact for internal and external vendors, contractors, and other entities relating to Impact Fees.
- Duties for this Position

- • Responsible for administrating Horry County's Impact Fee Ordinance. Work includes calculating, assessing, and monitoring fees on permits.
• Coordinates with Information Technology to ensure impact fee calculations are accurate.
• Prepare periodic reports of impact fees collection and ensure uniform treatment of similar projects.
• Prepare public presentations concerning the Impact Fee Ordinance.
• Requires extensive customer contact determining the applicability of the fee and providing quotes for future projects.
• Assist in periodic evaluation, revision and implementation of impact fees.
• Additional duties may include monitoring project specific financial guarantees, assisting in the review of commercial and residential development plans, and coordination within the County.
- Position Minimum Requirements

- • Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Public Administration, Accounting, Political Science, Business Administration and/or work experience directly related in impact fee administration, land development, or construction; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
