General Job Description
Under limited supervision of the Director of Victim Services, carries out professional and responsible administrative duties to support victims and witnesses.
- Duties for this Position

- Establish initial communication with victims.
- Provide support to victims in preparing the victim impact statement.
- Inform victims about available financial assistance, compensations and fees; and assisting them with the application process for these benefits.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings between the victim, Advocate, and Prosecutor.
- Arrange travel for out-of-state victims and witnesses.
- Provide court notifications for circuit court bond hearings, guilty pleas, and trials.
- Escort victims to court hearings.
- Provide victims with local counselors and resources.
- Provide case status updates upon request.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Position Minimum Requirements

- A Bachelor’s degree or an Associate degree accompanied by two years of administrative experience or any equivalent combination of education & experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- The applicant must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license and will be subject to a background investigation prior to hiring.
