General Job Description
Under general supervision, performs courteous service and effective and efficient administrative, accounting and clerical support for fixed-based operations. Facilitates air- to-ground communications for private and corporate aircraft. Records and processes all FBO sales and invoices, maintains and files financial records and prepares various reports and purchase orders.

- SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responds and addresses telephone and radio calls, routes calls to appropriate staff personnel. Answers and responds to radio transmissions from aircraft and flightline personnel.
2. Maintains daily arrival/departure log of aircraft; obtains necessary written data from aircraft and crew.
3. Responsible for processing and recording of FBO sales, including production of invoices, maintaining cash registers and fund accountability, prepare bank deposits.
4. Preparation and filing of various reports and records including receipts, price notices, invoices, monthly billing statements, monthly account receivable reports, operates within approved budgets. Also responsible to prepare the following reports for the General Aviation Manager: Man Hour Report, GA Fuel Usage Report, Daily Fuel Price Change, Fuel Inventory Tracking Report, Historical Report, FY percentage Comparison Report, FY Summary Comparison, monthly fuel price survey and spread sheets, YTD Profit and Loss report and Annual Interval Audit.
5. Acts as liaison with special interest groups during special events while on Airport property to provide customer service.
6. Interacts and communicates with general public, supervisors, employees and vendors regarding fixed based operation customer service issues.
7. Maintenance and distribution of supplies and administrative correspondence to appropriate airport personnel. Perform quarterly and annual inventories of merchandise, equipment and other Airport County assets. Order and inventory of pilot supplies and aeronautical charts for resale.
8. Provide administrative support and perform various clerical duties, including but not limited to typing, copying, filing, and faxing to customers and other Airport departments.
9. Complete hotel and rental car reservations for aircrew and passengers, prepare rental car contracts as necessary, including inspection of rental vehicles to ensure that they meet the required specifications. Make and coordinate catering arrangements when needed for meetings or other functions. Prepare coffee, ice and perform dishwashing to assist aircrews.
10. Monitor security cameras and report breaches, maintain security of customer aircraft and auto keys, schedule and monitor keys to aircraft for tenants, and coordinate with US Customs and/or local, state and federal officers for the arrival of special aircraft.
11. Coordinate scheduling of conference rooms as needed by staff and customers, and issue ramp permits as directed by FBO Manager. Conduct briefings to vehicle drivers and provide instruction as to proper gate procedures.
12. Provide guidance, training and instruction to part-time employees assigned to duties in customer service area.
13. Provide long term parking lot permits and monitor customer utilization.
14. Perform custodial duties at the Fixed Base Operation building, including vacuum and clean grille area, empty trash and clean windows.
- Position Minimum Requirements

- Requires high school diploma and vocational technical school training in bookkeeping, clerical skills, or related field, two years experience in general aviation customer service, and one to two years office experience, or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Must be capable of typing 50 wpm, 10 key, and utilize Microsoft Word and Excel. Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license and undergo criminal background check. Ability to work flexible schedule, including holidays.
