Horry County Legacy Business Recognitions

 

On Aug. 22, 2023, and Aug. 24, 2023, Horry County Historic Preservation Commission will gather to recognize a number of legacy businesses with a rich history in our community.  

The recognition ceremony schedule is as follows. 

Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023:

• 10 a.m. a.m. - Viking Barber and Stylist
• 10:40 a.m. - Floyd’s Motel
• 11:20 a.m. - Elliott Realty, Inc.
• 12 p.m. - Plantation Pancake House

Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023:

• 10 a.m. - Original Painter’s Homemade Ice Cream
• 10:40 a.m. - Allen’s Auto Service
• 11:20 a.m. - Ocean Drive Beauty Center
• 12 p.m. - Dino's Pancake House
• 1:30 p.m. - Helen's Style Center

Community members are welcome to attend the recognition ceremonies and celebrate along with the business and Historic Preservation Commission.
